Developed by the scientists that invented IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), this unique combination of IPL and RF (Radio Frequency) addresses the limitations of traditional hair removal technologies. The addition of "color-blind" RF technology allows the use of a lower level of IPL energy while delivering a clinically proven removal of unwanted hair, even on darker skin tones, with no adverse effects.

To prepare the skin, remove hair in the area you intend to treat (underarm, bikini area, legs and arms for women and back, chest, legs and arms for men). The mē smooth system makes it easy to skip this step. Use the shaver attachment for immediate hair removal while the elōs technology reduces re-growth. Note: mē is not intended to be used on the face.
1. Press the power button on the base unit to turn the system on.
2. Press the appropriate elōs level button (Low, Medium or High) on the base unit to select the desired elōs energy. It is recommended to start with Low level, and if you feel comfortable, raise the elōs level.
3. Press the elōs activation button on the hand piece.
4. Place the applicator on the area you want to treat, ensuring full contact of the two silver RF delivery bars with the skin. Do not press, just gently touch the skin. The hand piece will start emitting elōs pulses. Glide the applicator slowly and continuously on the treatment area without stopping in one place. Do not return to the same spot for at least 10 seconds.

I love this system because it is really working! I have completed 5 sessions on my legs, underarms, and bikini area. My bikini area is taking a bit longer because the hair is thicker. However, the hair on my legs and underarms are pretty fine, so the growth has decreased significantly. I followed instructions and started at the lowest levels. I am very pleased with this product. I suffer from PCOS, which means excessive hair growth is a constant uphill battle for me. I have to admit I wasn’t sure about buying the me but I did a lot of digging online over several months before finally purchasing it. After only one use I can see a considerable difference. I wish it came with more cartridges but all in all, it’s a wonderful product. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to get rid of unwanted hair! I haven’t had it for too long but I wanted to share my experience anyway. For the record, I have dark skin and dark hair. I also have very, very dark and course body hair. I remember after I hit puberty, I would have to shave every 2 days! Then after I gave birth to my first child, my hormones were off the wall! I saw my body hair get darker, courser, and grew like grass. I literally HAD to shave every single day, sometimes twice a day, especially in the summer. Even right after I would shave, you could still see those stubborn black hairs underneath my skin. Ugh, I hate that feeling, so I felt like I had to shave every day, including my full legs and underarms.Rating
I can tell you the lowest setting does not hurt. I felt like it was a quick zap of hotness but then it goes away :). So, am I happy with the results? DEFINITELY! It feels so good that I can’t even put into words how it feels not to have to worry about shaving every day and I'm anticipating summer time now! I do not in any way regret purchasing me smooth. I'm so glad I went with this instead of the No No which I heard doesn’t really work. And its better than having to pay someone to do it for me.

I have dark skin and dark brown hair. Most of my hair is thin although the hair around my bikini line is coarser. I’ve been using the me for about 7 weeks now with great results. I use it on my arms, bikini line, and underarms. I’ve seen just a little hair on my arms after the first treatment. The results are definitely noticeable but don’t expect to be hairless overnight. I got this as a gift from my BF because we are going away to Jamaica for a week so he knew I would want to try it. I was skeptical that it would work so I tried it first on my underarms. I couldn't believe how fast it worked and it didn't even hurt. Then I tried my bikini line and I have dark, thick hair. I like this so much that I ordered one for my sister for her birthday. Q: I used mē last week and still see hair… why would this happen?A: Hair can be growing up to two weeks after your last treatment as the hair shaft is cast out from the skin. You will be surprised to see that it will actually fall out naturally. It's also possible that some of your hair is still growing because it wasn't affected by the treatment which could be caused by different hair growth cycles or that the elōs wasn't clearly applied to all areas of your skin. Other factors such as genetics, metabolism and age also influence the duration of each growth cycle. Remember to glide the applicator slowly and continuously on the treatment area without stopping in one place according to the recommended treatment durations.
